This Privacy Policy explains how Imran Hassan (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Ghar Ka Khana mobile application (the “App”), a service for ordering home-cooked food. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to operate the food-ordering service:

Data	Why we collect it
Phone number	To create and identify your account and let you sign in.
PIN	To secure your account. It is stored in a hashed (irreversible) form — we cannot see your PIN.
Name (optional)	To address you and label your orders for the cook.
Delivery location (building, block, room/flat, landmark note)	So your order can be delivered to the right place.
Orders & wallet activity	Your order history, prepaid wallet balance, and transaction records.
Language preference	To show the App in English or Urdu.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or device advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs.

2. Payments

The App uses a prepaid wallet. Money is added to your wallet by the cook/operator based on cash you pay outside the App. We do not collect or store any card, bank, or online-payment details in the App.

3. How we use your information

To register and authenticate your account (phone + PIN).
To process and deliver your food orders.
To maintain your prepaid wallet balance and transaction history.
To show low-balance reminders and let you contact the cook.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Who can see your information

The cook / operator of this service can see your name, phone number, delivery location, orders, and wallet balance — this is necessary to prepare and deliver your food.
Supabase, our backend and database provider, stores the data securely on our behalf. See Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.
We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Your PIN is stored only as a secure hash.
Access to your data is restricted by database row-level security so customers can only see their own information.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service and meet legal/record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

You can request to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information (you can edit your name, PIN, and delivery location in the App).
Delete your account and associated personal data.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
